Some of my favorte lines here..... "I see dead people" and "they're baccccckkkkkk". Great picks and Poltergist was a super scary movie.

oh that Xul - i loved sigourney as the gatekeeper. my favorite spirit was Rebecca. she who haunted the new marriage through paintings and a weird housekeeper and stories of her glamour....a dark spirit indeed that was never even shown. good take on the theme. happy MM
looks like there are LOTS of Xul fans in here. ;-)
So, when I saw 'The Others' at the cinema, well, I can't remember the exact scene, but it was a very suspenseful moment and the entire place was quiet. Then something happened on the screen and it scared me so bad that I screamed at the top of my lungs. I was embarrassed, and everyone in the theater started to laugh at me.
Later some people said they were glad I screamed, because it was such an intense moment that helped them not be so scared.
But then again, I am a wuss when it comes to scary movies. I just don't really watch them. I’ve never seen any of the Jason or Freddy flicks. And I'm ok with that.

Balderdash! The only spirits I believe in are the one's that come in a bottle marked Absolut.
Huh. Coulda fooled me. After viewing all that, I thought the topic was "Bad Movies".

I am hugely interested in the psychic world and Medium is one of my favourite shows (though I think it works wonderfully as a drama regardless of whether you think there's anything in it).
I am an agnostic spook fan though and retain my right to question these things as well.
