Da Na Na Na Na Na Na Na

You ever get one of those birthday cards that say something along the lines of, "I got you a present, but it wouldn't fit inside this card?" Well, Boxer, this is a version of that card. "I got you a present. In my head. And am sending you its virtual version."

Also . . .

 As well as . . .

(the fondant shot glasses are probably a wee bit gross, though)

* * *
So come on, Party People, tell me, what one thing would you buy Miz Boxer for her birthday today?

I posted my "gift" over at the Buzzkill. I'm not getting the picture of Gene Kelly (Jack Webb wanna-be?) doing splits. Please enlighten me.

Amazingly, this comment worked. I couldn't leave comments on your other post. Go figure...

I posted my "gifts" over at the Troll Stroll. If I had to pick one, it would be the Entrepreneur-Of-The-Year trophy.

My gifts are up too! but also there would be:

a $500 gift card to home depot; a first class ticket to Iceland for a sipping tour of local vodkas to be enjoyed in a geothermal hot pool with vikings; (wait, that sounds more like a gift for me ) a leetle bitty cart that a team of chihuahuas can pull along the beach as she collects driftwood; truckload of sugar and flour and baking tools; my never ending respect and admiration for being a stellar human being and all around asset to the world

happy birthday Boxa~!!

Bacon. Everyone needs bacon.

Today is Boxer's birthday? I think, based on previous posts about years 'n' memories, the honoree might be all of two days younger than the czar.

I've tried twice to leave comments, very good comments by the way, clever and witty, too. Blogger ate them all. So, what songs remind me of summer?

"In the summertime" Mungo Jerry -- if her daddy's rich, take her out for a meal, if her daddy's poor, just do what you feel l.....

Lovin' SPoonful ... Hot Town, Summer int he City, back of my neck gettin dirty and gritty ....

See you in September, see you when the summer's through, will I see you in September or lose you to a summer (something) bye bye so long farewell (this song will always make me think of my brother)

Lovin Spoonful (again) - Daydream ... I'm lost in a daydream, been dreaming since I woke up today, starring me in my daydream ...

My friends and I always used to have a "song of the summer" ... sometimes it was a dance song from the night clubs that was popular; or maybe the song played over and over and over on the radio. Love summer music.

And yes, it is too hot too early, but I am enjoying it for now!
