Had no idea who that fruit was until I saw the comments. Sorry, but absent 2 decades of Government Bailouts, Apple wouldn't even exist.

Happy Mute Monday!

Damn. It's too bad about his recent illnesses, but at least there's one person on the West Coast who isn't using his gobs of money to try to retain a semblance of youth. (Written on a sputtering 4-year-old Toshiba laptop. The rest of my family has Macs and love them, but they have all had problems as well. The iPods too. Quoting Dan Jenkins, "ain't nothin' in this ol' world that's dead solid perfect.")

He certainly is a viosionary (I almost said, "was"). Then he gets hosed by Bill Gates and loses a liver. And I thought my life wasn't fair.

Happy MM!

On the positive side...he got a liver where I would have been waiting in line at the pearly gates.

that's a very, very suggestive picture. I'm sure he knew what he was doing -- this is a marketing ploy targeted straight to women.

brilliant.

Hi, my name is Kym and I'm a PC.

I can't make myself take the plunge into the apple products. Unless of course, they are baked with cinnimon and sugar. :)

It reminds me of that bit from the Forest Gump movie, when he and Loooootenant Dan invested in a fruit company and didn't have to worry about money no more. One less thing to worry about. :) Yep, he was definitely cuter than Bill Gates.

Sorry I missed Mute Monday, but oh well. Next week maybe!
