Obligatory Anarchic Protest Post Against Stooooooopid Ass Tax Day
Don't you just love this song's groovy '60's vibe? Every time I hear it, I imagine Twiggy in something way cool Mary Quant-ish go-go dancing down the steps of the Capitol Building and flinging daisies at all the stuffed suits.
Yeah. It's what I would have done, had I gone to the Tea Party. But today, I just don't have it in me to fight the power, y'all.

There was a big rally downtown today for that goofy tea party thing. They were actually distributing petitions to IMPEACH our governor simply because he endorsed Obama in the election. The guy's a Democrat. What do you expect???

Lincoln Blvd - (the street that the Capital is on in OKC) was a nightmare today. I've seen some pretty big rallies, but nothing to this magnitude! I work just south of the Capital and I had to go to the ABLE Commission today to get our license for our big event coming up. The ABLE Commission is just about as much north of the Capital as I am south. IT TOOK ME 30 MINUTES TO GET THERE and 45 TO GET BACK. Ridiculous. (All of the American Flags that were stuck in the ground on the south lawn were remarkable to look at though. I bet there were at least 500)

Big rally here today. I don't know - is it just me or does throwing Tea BAGS at politicians seem a little tame?
I almost laughed when the reporter held up the bag on TV and announced:
"This is what politicians will be finding on their desks".
