EXCELLENT picks. A lot of my favorite outrages here. *sigh* Clint. I have no idea why Gran Torino wasn't up for an Oscar. Hollywood is stupid.

Movie Outrage, excellent examples too. I haven't seen Clint Eastwood's new one but I hear it's good. And Uma Thurman in Kill Bill in the house of Blue Leaves scene is one of my all time favorites.

Happy MM!

Aunty: Ooooooo, I forgot about Sling Blade. One of my all time fave movies!

Boxer: Gran Torino was the movie of the year. Hollywood is ASININE.

Buzz: Tarantino's public persona bugs me to no end and I'm not much of a Pulp Fiction fan, but the two Kill Bills are about as great as movies get.

Great stills. Many came out after my boycott started but I loved Chuckles Bronson and Clint's outrage pics. And I was nick-named "Buford Pusser" as a young troll. Hint: It's not cause I was tall. Grrrherhahhahahahahahha!

Happy Mute Monday!

The 4th pic features quite the menacing baguette.

P.S. How can Eastwood STILL look so handsome...?

Pam: I think a good illustration of just how simplistic Hollyweird can be is a comparison between Gran Torino and Crash. Crash in my opinion was one of the most pedestrian movies ever made about race relations, yet Hollyweird slavered all over themselves over it. Gran Torino, on the other hand, is way more subtle and emotionally impactful than you think it's going to be. Eastwood so cleverly interweaves violence and humor, horror and pathos, that you don't know what's hit you until it actually does.

Troll: You should end your boycott on my recommendations. And, I SWEAR, I won't send you to Sex in the City.

HeatherCherry: Clean livin', conservative values :o).

"Walking Tall" was based on me.

OT: my email home page claims gerard butler and jennifer anniston are a thing.

K9: Well, in the ways o' the Hollyweird, lunchies and drinkees hardly a romance make. But if true, it would most certainly be good news. And of course immediately prompt me to rearrange my list.

This is most excellent movie outrage. And Slingblade is one of my most favorite movies. But I find it quite humorous. I quote Dwight Yokam all the time. "I play cards with J.D. Shellnut, chief of po-lice. The laws on myyy side." I know I'm sick, but he makes me laugh. a lot.

Happy MM.
