Your music picks are always great. I'd love a "MOI Playlist" sometime.

I'm not in this week either, but happy MM!

grrherhaha i knew you were the go to person. well these are the kinds of cultural gems one misses when they diss hollywood. im about to dismiss even more of bad culture.

ive done some interesting reading lately. you think its hot here; over in EURO world theres muy discontent with globalization (no!) and germany -vs- the "latin" countries; protestants vs catholics; dhimmis vs westerners...just a real mess. the hatred for uncle sam also palatable.

funny thing about ardliar. i suppose he is just fine with a sovereign nation (UK) allowing sharia law to take hold -entire neighborhoods no go muslim quarters and big brother on every street corner...the issuance of a national ID card with no identifying markers to the former england and now this according to the london times

Ministers are considering spending up to £12 billion on a database to monitor and store the internet browsing habits, e-mail and telephone records of everyone in Britain.

so of course he cannot identify with our abject alarm at the naked power grab we have witnessed.
my point?

you are correct that some kind of stand needs to be made or we too will be like little steers in the feed lot wondering where "jimmy" went.

noam saying?

but how?

sorry to hijack your mute monday but i need you back on the case ASAP

K9:That's the thing about fascism. It doesn't necessarily come stomping in on jack-booted feet. Today, it scuttles in on softly padded, cozy slippered, oh-so-well-meaning feet. Chip away slowly, slowly. Make us nod our heads in drone clone agreement, "yes, yes, this is for our own GOOD, after all." A national I.D. card? Well that will keep the illegals at bay, won't it? Keep tabs on my whereabouts? Well, I have nothing to hide and if it means we catch a few terrorists, why not? Then, before you know it, we're all drinking lime Kool-aide and wearing Soviet-era grey.

Those who will trade their liberties for even the smallest amount of security – which 99.9999 percent of the time is an illusion – deserve a big ol' klunk upside the head and some training in how to grow a fuckin' pair.
