Mute Monday: Mother Nature

“They cannot scare me with their empty spaces between stars – on stars where no human race is. I have it in me so much nearer home to scare myself with my own desert places.” – Robert Frost

Absolutely beautiful. I'd move to the desert if there weren't hippies there. Awesome pics.

Happy MM!

First, the Robert Frost quote and those stunning photos. I remember my one trip to the Desert and the beauty of no light pollution to see those stars. This part of the country holds so much raw beauty. Great MM.

Troll: You by any chance related to Eric Cartman?

AB: Dark desert skies do indeed bring new meaning to the word "sparkly."

Wicked: Frost goes in and out of fashion, but I heart him for sure.

Pirate: No, I didn't. Darn, would have liked to see that.

Everyone else: All these are spots that are anywhere from 30 min. to 5 hours by car from my front door. I hug myself a lot.

it is beautiful. you should see it from up Here. i heard you wont wear green. what do you call that avatar, child? got snakes? i'll banish them for you! have a meat pie on me and garnish with shamrock.

atllg: Not much water here, though, for a life aquatic :o)

St.Pat: Au contraire, green is Moi's favorite color. And I wuv's me some snakes, so no need to banish. But I could use you in the garden for the grasshoppers and thrips in about four weeks.
