Apple Cake:

1.5 cups sugar

3 cups sifted flour

1 tsp. Baking Soda

1/2 tsp. Kosher Salt

1 tsp Cinnamon

3 cups thin sliced GS apples

1.5 cups Wesson Oil.

2 eggs slightly beaten

2 tsp Vanilla

1/2 cup Coconut

1/2 cup Walnuts

Mix sugar, flour, soda, salt and cinnamon. Add apples and mix until well-coated. Add oil, eggs, vanilla, coconut and walnuts. Pour into greased 9 by 13 pan. Bake at 350 for one hour.

Then come up with a good frosting of your own creation if desired.
