one of my best family trips as a kid was driving across Wyoming and seeing this fabulous big rock in person (along with some other AMAZING formations, too.) Wow. Great pick. I was thinking of using pictures from the Spa, but went with other recent trip.
Reminds me of the quote from the Horse Whisprer, "Big Rock, Little Rock"... that is definitely a BIG ROCK! Have you climbed it or just run circles around it?
All: SB and I climbed half of it. Made it up the first three pitches, and then rain forced us down. The irony was, those first pitches were so difficult, so scary, we were actually relieved to have to go back down. It was then that we learned the last couple pitches were basically class fours. In other words, a walk. D'oh!
Moi ... on another page here. I read your response in the Troll Poll about the baby ducks .... come on over to the Pond and read about Spotter in the post right before todays MM.

Excellent take. That looks like a scary climb. Does anything LIVE on that rock?
Happy Mute Monday!
"This means something." Great movie and great interpretation of the theme. I had never seen or knew anything about the Devil's Tower until this movie.
Happy MM!
