Gads...haven't hear THAT song in AGES! Yet another ditty to have running through my head tomorrow at work.... I will try to overrule that one with Slade's "Run Runaway."
She reminds me of the creature coming out of the cave at the beginning of Saturday Night Chiller Theatre who used to scare the hell out of me at 11:30pm on Saturday night TV back in 1968, which came on right after This Week in the NFL. I could never make it past the opening credits. I think I have just heard my first Siouxie and the Banshees song. Totally out of my wheelhouse. So what the hell do I know?
K9: I think it's easy to forget, given today's teen pop tart dominated music charts, that many Punk/New Wave singers hit fame in their thirties. Debbie Harry was approaching 40 when Blondie first broke. Lydia Lunch, Lene Lovich, Pat Benetar, Chrissy Hynde – all "older." So, how's it in the land o' fruits and nuts?
Czar: Dude, you are ripe for a Moi Mix Tape.
WTWA: No one could ever accuse me of not making my own fun.
