The B-52s were totally off my radar at the time (I can't get the first link to pull up), but seeing this second video, and being kinda familiar with contemporary indie rock because of my kids, I see a lot of Flaming Lips and Arcade Fire in them. Not that my son would ever admit it, of course.

oh my, is that a good thing or a nightmare sequence?
Mine is often "Barbara Manatee"
I can't see the picture. I'm writing my own theme song but until it's completed I have:

Lately it's been John Cale, "Cable Hogue."

But at this time of the year it's too often Jose Feliciano's "Feliz Navidad." Is it January 2 yet?

Lately I would say "Daydream Believer" by the Monkees. :)
REM - pretty much everything from their early CD's. "Love Shack" is my favorite song for shadow boxing and speed bag.
YAY! MEMORIES! I saw the B-52s at UCLA's Royce Hall when I was 16, mere (cough) decades ago!
For me, it's I Wanna Be Sedated. It reminds me to stop being so hyper. Or make me more hyper.
