Karl: Grace was a beautiful gal with a major voice. For that, I'll forgive her the outfit.
Czar: Yes, über cool, even thought it's a hippie fest. I forget how good they were. Before they went Starship. That was mostly unforgivable, as was Slick's solo effort.
Boxer: In my next life, I'll have pipes.
The first Slick and Starship albums, which were basically Airplane-Dead studio sessions (along with David Crosby's If Only I Could Remember My Name), I thought were quite good enough to forgive all the sci-fi crap. After that, embarrassment.

PS: In the realm of equal opportunity, the czarina was mighty taken with that shot of Jorma Kaukonen at the beginning of "White Rabbit." I don't think Jack Casady, however, ever qualified as a teen idol.

Unfortunately, "Grace" was also the czarina's first choice for a daughter's name. Not only did we not have daughters, but Grace Land is nothing to do to a child. Explains why our first female animal after childbearing was named Gracie.
