Cool Thing

Guaranteed to get banned at some point from some place sometime soon, I suppose, but until then, how nifty! A lil' giftee por Moi courtesy Chickory and Boxer during their outing to Blue Ridge a few weeks ago. Made by Fred and Friends, it's a flexible ice cube tray that freezes six perfectly formed handguns of about 4" in length. Imagine the possibilities at parties.

What nifty gadget have you discovered lately?

FREEZE PUNK!!!

I don't have any cool stuff like this. I got the Mrs an electric wine bottle opener - does that count?

How could we leave those in the store? Mr. Boxer and I have been buying these square ice cubes that fit in glasses better. I used to be all about the gadgets but aside from the new blender to make better smoothies, my kitchen is oddly gadget free.

@Buzz - yes, that qualifies. I hate opening wine bottles

Buzz: Don't DO that when I have a mouthful of coffee, please. Yes. Opening wine is a pain in the arse. Good on ya.

Boxer: When S.B. shops for my gifts, he thinks Chanel and garden power tools I'll never learn how to use. My friends? They think handguns. Looks like I'm covered.

Good afternoon Moi,

Ooh Boy! Could I think is some fun party games to play with those. And think about how great they'd look floating in a punch bowl.

Where can I get one? Next Saturday we're having a coming home party for a relation, he just returned from Afghanistan. These would be perfect for it.

Karl - check your email.

Karl: Well, there ya go! Enjoy the party. Glad to hear your relative is coming home safe and sound.

Haha! Funny! Where the heck did Boxer and Chickory find those?! I LOVE the case they come in...so many great party themes you could use these with...James Bond, Chicago Gangster...Moi, the high-heeled, gun totin' vixen!

"Gadget por la revolucion!" GRRHAHAHAHA. This is absolutely brilliant! I wonder if it does jello molds also? Now THAT would be funny. Or float a few of these ice guns in a bowl of punch at your next party. The possibilities are ENDLESS, I tell you! Endless. OOOH! I'd love to sneak one of these through the metal detectors at work! I wonder what they look like on the x-ray screen that the troopers see. Oh yes, the possibilities ...

@ Pam: "I'd love to sneak one of these through the metal detectors at work!" Please don't do even think about it. The troopers manning those checkpoints have real guns and no sense of humor, when it comes to such things.

Aunty: And then I'm gonna feed 'em to the fishes!

La Diva: I've always thought a handgun was the perfect accessory to finish off an outfit.

Boxer: Crazy, man!

Chickory: I have spent a lot of time going back and forth on whether or not I "need" the iPad. I already have a Mac laptop, Skype, and my 'Phone, so I feel like the pad would be redundant. But hitched as I am to a man who is a Gadget Master, I'm sure it's likely to pop up at sometime in my future. It is an impressive thing, although the keyboard would take me a bit of time to get used to.

Pam: Jell-o molds! I think it would work perfectly for that. Super idea! And I like your bit of anarchic verve.

Karl: Whoops. So much for anarchic verve. Okay, no fun for us :o)

I have to say, I didn't ask for the Ipad, or think I "needed" it but I've grown to really love it. It's all I need when traveling. The Real Time feature is still a little freaky to me, but it was fun to show Chickory to the Mister.
