Great nostalgic boxes. Mine was rusty, dented, had a picture of a fish and said "Bait".

Happy Mute Monday.

Oh man, I lust after the Cowboy lunchbox. I loved the lunchboxes that had the thermoses because that meant Mom sent hot soup. Hmmmmm.

WONDERFUL!
Do you still have any of your lunchboxes? I don't even really remember any of mine but my little brother loved, loved, loved his Cowboy lunchbox and was broken hearted when it was lost on a playground.

We have a Mom and Pop, lunch only, restaurant in our downtown. It is called "The Lunchbox" and the walls are covered with hundreds of classic metal lunchboxes, each on their own little shelf. They also cater picnics and when they do, every lunch is packed in one of those memory boxes lined with waxed checkerboard paper. So dear!

Hope you have a great Monday!

Classic boxes indeed! I never had a cool lunch box myself. Just a hand-me down pink ballerina plastic-y thing that used to be my sister's. I hated it! It was totally un-cool as opposed to the kids who had the "real" lunch boxes! Luckily, by that time, mom was worn out with it all and just gave me lunch money to go through the line!

That was wonderful, I can't remember if I had one because we walked home for lunch, noodle soup and a PBJ, mmmm.

I had a Zorro Lunch Box when I was in 1st grade that I still remember. And the thermos had a glass insert that I constantly broke. I always use to shake it before I opened it to hear the glass fragments. I'll actually be cleaning out my mom's house in the next few weeks and I hope I come accross it.

Happy MM!

My favorite lunch box was Care Bears. And actually, my mother posted a quite lovely picture of me from a first day of school back in the day, with said lunch box.

Happy MM.

GREAT idea for your mute. I wish I had thought of this, that's how much I love it. :-) I had a red plaid lunch box and I loved the thermos, although we were never allowed to take milk in it because my Mother thought we would get salmonella. I also couldn't take any meats, so my lunch box contents were very boring.

Good morning Moi,

What a neat idea. I had a box, can't for the life of me remember what was on it.
