Those old dudes rocked the two-lead-guitars strategy. I'd try to play it but I'd prolly forget the lyrics.Happy Mute Monday!
I love the ventures and wish I could still love Tequila... long story but it involved 9-1-1, so I try to forget it. The UofW has adopted this song, so when I hear this I think of Football games.Happy MM!
my favorite is the pee wee herman version - tequila is the alcohol of economy - always a cherished virtue in my book. its a happy, relatively alert , buzz. great choice. cazadorres is the best. happy MM!
I can almost see PeeWee dancing across the bar on the toes of his platform shoes... Love the music, but like Boxer, tequila nearly did me in once - can't even deal with the smell anymore! Happy MM, and Happy Holidays!
Why shore'nuff! I danced to this aplenty--but now it'd throw mah back out...heh.Happy MM!
Ah Surf Rock... there was a lot of that on the east coast of Aus when I was a teenager. This is a classic MM, well done.
Tequila might have had some part to play on the day I met my husband. Hmmmmmm. Dah dum dah de dum dum dah dah .... will have it in my head all day! happy MM
Troll: One of my most treasured recordings is the Ventures Play Telstar. I've played the heck out of that record.Boxer: That's a darn shame.K9: YES! Pee Wee is a genius. I think I've tasted about fifty bazillion tequilas in my life and I keep coming back to Cuervo 1800 Añejo.Java: Oh, no! Another bad experience! Like K9, I find it to be one of the "cleanest" liquors around. It doesn't even hang me over. Although, I've been known to hallucinate just a wee bit under its influence.Aunty: When I was a little girl, I used to drag my parents' portable record player into my room on early Sunday mornings (the rest of my famblee were late sleepers) and dance like crazy to this record.Bear: I can imagine that!Vixen: Back at cha.pamokc: You, too, huh? "We've been together so long. I hope it wasn't just the . . . tequila." :o).
ooh you are spoiling me moibig moustaches and big sideburns all in one bandlol
Fun! I love the guitarist on the classic old wooden four legged counter stool doing his leg exercises! Also...great sound and really entertaining Mute Monday :-)
Where in the World was Carmen SanMoi? Misery? OurKansas?

Emma: I know, huh? Rock and roll, girlfriend, rock and roll.Fishy: Hey, thanks for pointing that out!Troll: If I told you, you'd have to get out of your bah humbug spirit.K9: Dude, you got it! Check your email soon.
I'm glad I didn't manage to get here yesterday or the mere mention of Tequila would have had me driving the porecelain bus. Happy Mute Monday Moi and I hope you and your loved ones have a fab Christmas.
for the record, after I "recovered" I had no hang over either. But when 9-1-1 is called you kinda make a deal with your loved ones. No. More. Tequila.A shame. My Bro calls it "liquid Valium"
