Meme Memoir

The fabulous Meghan tagged me for The Six-Words Meme, which was originally started by Smith Magazine. The history is thus:

Legend has it that Hemingway was once challenged to write a story in only six words. His response? “For sale: baby shoes, never worn.” Last year, SMITH Magazine re-ignited the recountre by asking our readers for their own six-word memoirs. They sent in short life stories in droves, from the bittersweet (“Cursed with cancer, blessed with friends”) and poignant (“I still make coffee for two”) to the inspirational (“Business school? Bah! Pop music? Hurrah”) and hilarious (“I like big butts, can’t lie”).

Moi's six-word memoir:

Yay, the artisan's impulse! Stuff good.

I’m going to tag:
Wicked, Doris Rose, Anonymous Boxer, Troll, Aunty, Thursday Next, and Pirate (and SHE!).

Here are the rules:
1) Write your own six word memoir.
2) Post it on your blog and include a visual illustration if you’d like.
3) Link to the person that tagged you in your post, and to the original post if possible so we can track it as it travels across the blogosphere.
4) Tag at least five more blogs with links.
5) Don’t forget to leave a comment on the tagged blogs with an invitation to play.
6) Have fun.

And I just had to add:

Good gah, are these shoes not muy fabuloso or whatso? Le sigh.

I loved your memoir title but I'm not qualified to discuss the shoes. And I'm UP with my Memoir.

P.S. If that legend is true, I think it's the cleverest thing Hemingway ever wrote.

She: Yes, you be a homie for sure and I would'a tagged you if I hadn't thought it would be a burden, given your work on da catalog and all. So by all means and pretty please with sugar on top, do a Meme Memoir!

Ain't that kinda, uh.......

on the other hand, I love the painting.
(it IS a painting, isn't it?)

Aunty: Oh, I wish I could dance the night away in those Miu Mius. But at 275 lira, not this year. I'll be right over for your Meme, though.

Boneman: Silly boy! Size 40 is Italian-speak for women's size 9. Yes, a Dutch painting. Those guys rock.

I can do a memoir in four words.

"For life, see blog."

Fabulous shoes indeed. What a wonderful idea to Roccocco them.

Sadly can't really see it working for kitten heels.

Oh, girl, I saw some candy apple red, multi-buckles, taller than the highest building Carlos Santana shoes yesterday. They almost converted me from my Keens.

They look even better on:

I can't even keep my comments down to 6 words, let alone create a whole post.
