I hear you, Sistah. I had to write a big stupid check to the IRS, plus estimated taxes... I told my biz partner.... we just sent our (really) hard earned money to buy bombs. GREAT.
We have to do the same crap at almost the same time here in little people land. It makes me want to run though the streets with katana in hand!

AB: It was almost a send lawyers, guns, and money type situation here but my clients kindly paid Moi at the last split second. Which is just about how long those payments remained in my hands . . .

iamnot: I hear ya. Voluntary does not belong in the same sentence as taxes and gub'ment. Follow the paper trail, you find the barrel of a gun.
She: I think I can hang with the idea of a Fair Tax. As far as the refund, stimulus my ass. I refuse to spend it on anything. I'm going to put it in the bank where it can earn a whopping 4 percent interest.
I am getting a good amount back, but I wonder if this tax refund will do any good on top of that now that food prices are soaring. GAH!
