California Dreamin'
We interrupt this regularly scheduled blog to wish S.B.'s colleague and all-around nice guy and awesome sushi-making partner, Señor Daniel-San, all the best in running the Big Sur Marathon this weekend. Lucky fucker.
Daniel-San has only been running since the fall and already he has fifty bazillion races under his belt. He's one a' them natural runners.
Go Dan! Run swiftly, run well, and don't trip over your shoelaces!

High Five Runner Dude!
I wish I enjoyed running...I push so hard and all I want to do is stop and do a step class. I dont know how people do marathons...its amazing!
Yeesh! Does this fella have wings--only since the Fall?? how can that be?
AN--what?? Yore B'day?? Whar's your fatasy list of shoes??
A shoe cake?
All: I'm not one of those natural runners. Been doing it for years, and it's always a struggle, it seems. But boy do I feel great afterward. And when I'm running at sea level in Louisiana. I do it because I need something to offset the eating :o)
Speaking of eating: Actually, two years ago my best friend made me a birthday cake in the shape of a shoe. It was awesome. My birthday was yesterday. We ate :o)
