I am so disappointed but none of your pics came up for me cuz I LOVE dogs. I don't know if anyone else has had a problem but just thought I would let you know.

That came out all wrong - I'm sure it wasn't because I love dogs that the pics didn't come out....DUH! Go to bed Gypsy, you're delirious!

They didn't come up for me either...but being as I am into rescue, BRAVO!!! oh, and Happy MM!

Great balanced post. About 75% came up for me but I have high-speed. They're all cute but Justice is the one I want!

Happy MM.

Actually, now they're ALL visible to me. But I still like Justice bestest.

Hmmm . . . don't know what's going on. I'll try reloading, guys, sorry. I've had trouble before with folks viewing with IE or Safari (I use Firefox).

Troll: Oh yes, you'd love Justice. A big ol' floppy frat boy with a heart of gold – he greets you by body slamming you and then sitting on your feet. But he behaves when called upon to do so. He's actually the star of our training program.

Doris: Yeah, but too many kisses, you get slicky-faced!

Valyna: Happy just about sums it up. Having a bad day? Spend a couple seconds around a pit bull and it all disappears. Unless, of course, the pit's got your socks or has raided the refrigerator.

She: Yes, very difficult sometimes to tell the difference except that Dogos are jowlier and much larger. Plus, they're rarer than humidity in these parts. Of course, your average back yard bred pound pit is a mix of gah-only-knows what. We most commonly see American bulldog and mastiff thrown into the mix.

Vet said that the dog which showed up on our doorstep after an ice storm was Lab and part Pitbull "but don't hold that against him" she says. I said that I didn't and we proceeded with shots and worming. That statistic about Albuquerque pit bull deaths is hard to believe. My cousins used to live there and I visited often back when the hot springs was attendable and the city was not vicious as it is now.
But our new pup is a babe in large-dog body and as sweet as can be.
Nice to read of your love of dogs ; have a neat "pack leader" new year.

Cute... but I prefer photos to the real thing... ;-) ok.. call me prejudicial... but I'm quite fine with my lazy Schnauzers... even if I eared once that were baddies!!!! Let me tell you... this is impossible!

Awwwwwwww! What a brilliant and up lifting review. Happy MM! ^_^

goatman: That's okay, one of my best dogs ever was a Lab; you'll be okay :o). And yes, that looked weird to me, too. I should never be left in charge of reading current statistics. That column's figure is 3,000, not 6,000. Sorry. Unfortunately, still a mind-blowingly unacceptable figure.

Wicked: Don't let her looks deceive you. It's how Sugar got so, well, zaftig.

searabbit: In college, I regularly housesat for a family with a Schnauzer. He was smarter than any dog ought to be . . .

raven: Yes, it's the doggie high life for these critters, for sure, whether permanent home or foster.

Awww..... All SO adorable and pretty. One of my best dogs was a Pit Bull/Black Lab mix. She had the most awesome personality. Loved her to death. HUGE animal person.

Love your photos. :)

Ohh good, now I can see them. I like Maeve and yes Sugar looks as though she needs a reassuring hug. Dogs are masters at that soulful look though aren't they? And they can spot a sucker from a mile away, that would be me.
