This week's Haiku Monday is once again being brought to us by "the most interesting man in the world," with a theme of TIME.

Best song, evah. I agree. I saw the Pretenders a few years ago and they really of timeless.
Your Haiku is one of your best. For many reasons.
Boxer: I've seen the Pretenders three times. One of those bands as good in concert as they are on their records. And Chrissie, for all her whackadooldle-ness, is the ne plus ultra of bad ass rock and roll chicas.
eeek, meant to say, they ARE timeless. Stoopid Monday.
Chrissie is looking good and they sound the same.
Boxer: She's almost sixty and looks amazing. (Is it just me, or is it par for the course that the older women get, the more they scout around for other females who hold it together at impossible ages, as if perhaps we, too, will eventually escape with a shadow of our youthful selves thanks to a combo of good genes and a scalpel?)
I adore your haiku, moi!
As for aging, was just talking with friend Cindie, who is the same age as I am. We had to do the math to be sure how old we are. We are not too pleased with the age we will both turn next year. Sigh. Where did the last two years go?
Happy Haiku Monday!
Nice, Moi. I always loved the Pretenders' sound and energy.
I think you'll pick up on the lyrical influence on my first haiku. A hint appears in the verse, but you won't need it.
Good morning Moi,
Very good haiku, plus an unexpected but most enjoyable visual.
Eggy: Time, it sucks most verily, I agree. I think the best revenge is living well :o)
Czar: "Battle cries and champagne just in time for sunrise."
Karl: Thanks! I dig your new avatar.
Good one!
Good one! I enjoyed it!
