I didn't know the man's name either. But I certainly know his work. I had Molly Hatchet's Flirting with Disaster - on 8-track. Loved Whiskey Man and Jukin City. He was a cool artist and probably had one of the most recognizeable album covers in rock history.
He was an artist for "creepy" magazine too...anybody remember? I guess the molly hatchet covers were the most famous.
buzz - you know, Molly Hatchet was out of Macon circa 1979...and half of them lived 4 doors down from my college apartment. I knew their manager pretty well; they later relocated to Jacksonville florida which was a good idea since no band can occupy the space where the ghosts of the Allman brothers reign.
moi. moi. how could you post fishstick paltow on your fashion blog. did you intend to make me grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr?
Buzz: He also did one of my all time favorite album's cover as well, Nazareth's Expect No Mercy. I think he did Hair of the Dog, too, but I'm not sure. "Now you're messing with a son of a bitch." :o)
K9: No way! I love Molly Hatchet. "Dreams I'll Never See." I'm posting that. AMAZING song. As for Gywnnie, I think the beeotch is a laugh riot. Love to make fun of her. And, of course, I knew it would bring you running to the fence :o)
