    Oddly, his is the first presidential campaign I recall--NOT that Aunty was able to vote--but I 'member mah daddy sayin' "not in a century of Sundays"...an' he meant folks was too blind to see what was comin' round the mountain.

  14. That election was 10 years before my time, but I Googled to find out a bit more about Mr. Goldwater.

    It's funny that I am, and always have been, a Democrat... but I lean STRONGLY toward many libertarian ideals.

    He's just the best! And he fights for what he believes in and has even gotten arrested for it - how many politicians can say that?
