Case in point: After hearing Neil Diamond's "Cracklin' Rosie" at least monthly for the last, what, 40-plus years, I listened closely to the lyrics for the first time a couple of days ago. My conclusion? It's a song about a blow-up sex doll.
Words are vastly overrated, Moi. I'm presently trying to write a few hundred of them, based on research I don't have for companies I hate. Where are you when I need you?
I think a pretty good argument could be made that words are responsible for the present lack of a center in the U.S. right now. Certain kinds of words, anyway.
I was distracted by the background "dancers" in this video, but liked it because you can actually hear the lyrics and it didn't make blood blow from my ears. :-)
But, your convo with Czar is equally entertaining.
